The goal was to use Cygnett’s AFL partnership to create EDMs (Email Direct Marketing) that feel personal, timely, and genuinely relevant to fans. By tapping into club pride and key game-day moments, the campaign aimed to turn emails into something fans would actually engage with, while driving awareness and sales of club-branded power banks. The message needs to be built around the fan experience, helping AFL supporters stay connected and enjoy every moment of the game without interruption, whether at the stadium, on the move, or at home.
A series of club-specific EDMs designed to stand out in busy inboxes. Each email balanced strong team identity with clear product messaging and simple calls to action. Layouts were built for fast scanning, making it easy for fans to recognise their club, understand the product, and shop quickly. Each execution quickly answered who the email was for, what the product was, and why it mattered right now, helping fans move smoothly from inbox to checkout.
The approach drove strong sell-in, high conversion rates, and reinforced Cygnett’s AFL partnership as both relevant and commercially effective during key moments of the season.
